Job Description
Farmers Market Sales Associates are self-starters. The right candidate will be friendly and outgoing, able to engage with customers to promote our products, answer questions, and offer education on gut health and healthy lifestyles. This position requires not only motivation to make sales, but also physical strength. This position involves moving heavy and large equipment including: coolers, table, pop-up tent, sand bags, and signs.
A farmers market can last anywhere from 5-6 hours a day, outdoors, in rain or shine.
Farmers Market Sales Associates will use their own vehicle to drive to and from a farmers market, at a specified location, and promote and sell our products. The person filling this position is required to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Typical travel time ranges between 30 minutes to an hour from our farm to a market and most markets are in the greater Boston area. Starting pay for this position is $11/hr plus commission opportunities.

Experience:
2+ years Sales experience
Food service industry preferred (ServSafe certification a plus!)
Marketing/Communications/Hospitality education preferred, but not required
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to lift, push, and pull 40 lbs.
Ability to stand 6+ hours
Must have valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Must be available to work assigned markets from start to end.
